Mike B did, yea. And he is focusing on PVP this time around. Mike is a PVP fanatic and frequently streams rated BGs. So an e-sport/hardcore PVPer perspective is highly likely.

Mike's videos are usually high production. I suspect many will be happy with his PVP footage if Mike delivers like the last time.

He's intending to do a PvP video for every single profession, and intends to try to get most of the weapons as well.

tldr I've only been fighting easy content so far and am mad because there's no rotation or thought required...

It sounds like someone's impression that didn't get too far in the game. I could be crazy, but I swear I've seen videos of mobs doing more than just 'auto attacking and maybe casting one ability'.

In the end, he claims it's on par with other MMOs. So, his complaint is that it's a boring game because it's not as good as he thought it was going to be? So much for keeping your expectations in check like you claim.

All I read was "try it for yourself, cause my opinion sure isn't fact".

I don't get that guys problem, seriously, he is winging about nothing? (imo), just comes across to me like he doesn't get GW2 Combat/playstyle ? or something.

I wont be put off by such a post, if MikeB and the likes say its a brilliant game(and that guys is usually spot on with games that work/dont work), combined with a heap of videos that don't lie, then i don't think we have anything to worry about, maybe this person is a fanboi of another game and is just hating for the sake of it, would a true fan really break the NDA O.o

Lol! Either it's very limited, well known people that got invite for it. If it's just randoms... there will be leaks for sure and they wont be able to track who. Silly I must say, but sure... depending on testers reaction to the game there's probably a reason why they should remain silent... (not fun news to have out there)

That's the exact feeling I got from TERA, it's worrying to see it in a post about GW2. My thoughts though are, as always, to each his own. I don't know if I'm going to agree or disagree with this guy until I get in there and try it--but if I don't like it, not only am I going to be out my $60 or $80, but what a heartbreaker it would be.

Edit: You know you read slow when there's an entire page of responses by the time you finish.

You could easily glean all of what he seems to know from watching the current youtube vids of GW2.

Here is my other take on it, if all you're doing is sitting there trying to do max dps, you are clearly not paying attention to all the rest of the combat mechanics. Like collision, positioning and so on, which in GW2 actually mean something.

The game is definitely not as 'slow' and deliberate as, say, LoL. I didn't do much PvE, mainly because I despise PvE in MMOs, but the couple of hours I did play, I had a lot of fun (which honestly surprised me).

The normal mobs, yea, just hit one and move around a bit (optional) and they die. I fought some higher level than me mobs and with a low level thief, the initiative mechanic made it very fun, it was a constant balancing act. Very interesting, once again from someone who HATES PvE.

Dont know why this thing is under NDA specially when your getting leaks like this. No one in the beta can defend the game because its a breach of their NDA.
