Breaking any NDA could leave you out for upcoming beta events as well.
As much as I dislike encouraging NDA breaches, I'll have to play devil's advocate and say I can understand the desire to know whether it's authentic or not.
My suggestion? Anyone who gets this kind of message, check the email header for any unrecognized email addresses (google it if you don't know how). If there's any email address that's not yours and not from an official domain (@arenanet.com, @guildwars2.com, whatever it is they use), then it's a fraud.
If you still have any doubts, send an email to ArenaNet and ask if it's authentic.

I hope this is one of the 'not gw2' ones, and not Primordus.
The slight similarities to Deathwing would have kids going "BUT DAT IZ DEATHWING COPY!"
I mean, it's bad enough that we have to listen to them call The Shatterer a Deathwing copy, and he looks nothing like him besides them both being dragons that happen to have chins.
Why do people pre-order online from a different website then Anet then complain about not getting their key to register asap.
Well it's cause ya didn't order from Anet but some strange online site store :3

zito,
That's fine and all, but some of us pre purchased a $160 CE and had to use a retailer.....
What about Deathwing beeing similar to older dragons cuz he is a dragon? Ppl in general are stupid...

Hmm, funny thing. I decided I'd look up why everyone's so obsessed with this Rytlock Brimstone person, to the point of it being so major a character that it's the CE statue, so I went to the official wiki, and I found... nothing. Very odd. So then I went to another wiki I know, one that styles itself the "unofficial" wiki, and found... nothing.
So, could anyone summarize for me, who is this Rytlock charracter and why do we care about him?
If it's a spoiler for a game / book / comic / cereal package, feel free to drop it in a PM. I never have time (or the peace of mind) to read these days anyway.

I'm not saying they ARE similar,
but if people can claim that The Shatterer is a deathwing clone even though he was revealed before Cata was out just because they both happen to have chins,
you can be damn sure they will claim that Primordus (if this is him) is a direct Deathwing copy paste.
"They're both red, they both have horns, and they both have somewhat squared chins? CLONE!"
Didn't say it was a reasonable conclusion to come to, just saying that it is likely due to the comments about The Shatterer.

Just a quick note, for future reference,
those are both GW1 wikis.
Rytlock did not come about until the GW2 books, due to the fact that if he was in GW1 he would be dead by now.
May want to use wiki.guildwars2.com for GW2 related searches. :P
Likely due to the 250year time gap.
Something that was relevant in GW1 can be completely different in GW2.
The first example I can think of off the top of my head is Lion's Arch. (GW1 link here)
In GW2 it is a pirating city that welcomes all races and is one of the most diverse places in Tyria, in GW1 it was the human capital city.
Any articles that have a GW1 and a GW2 version have a little box at the bottom saying "The Guild Wars _ Wiki also has an article on _________."
