I most certainly won't go without a beard. As for trimming it, I do that somewhat regularly, it just doesn't show in the photo.

I'm going to take your word for it that it looks a lot better normally, but you have to admit in that pic it looks pretty bad.

Thing is, I took that pic late at night while making faces at the camera, normally it's got a bit more volume to it. But even so, I kind of like the slightly scruffy look, everyone looks way too well-groomed these days. :P

Well that's good, as I said I was going to take your word for it. Lighting or position can make all the difference.
Regarding grooming, that depends. I don't advocate going super metro sexual man and plucking nose hairs with tweezers, but I'm also biased because of the quality of a lot of our tennants and applications.
