Which class/spec had the hardest DPS rotation in WotLK?

Last night my roommate and I were having a disagreement over which class had the hardest DPS rotation in WotLK. My wife just started a feral druid and I made the comment that "feral druids were ridiculously complex in WotlK" to which my friend disagreed and said death knights were. Having played both in alt raids but not as my main I had disagreed, but I decided to ask you guys instead.

Poll coming. Since it only has 10 options max, I'm putting the class... if you choose to answer, please post the spec that had the hardest rotation - in YOUR opinion - within that class.

    Thanks!

Obviously everyone is going to be biased towards the class that they play.
Heard kitty druids were pretty complex back in wrath though.

Affliction is fairly difficult to play well... the variance between each warlock's dps varies drastically depending on how well they keep up their rotation (priority) and time their DoT reapplication.

Obviously everyone is going to be biased towards the class that they play.

BTW, My main is a hunter, not a lock

Dk's were a joke IMO. you used every gcd, but it was pretty straight forward what you should hit when. I heard feral cats were the most complicated, never played one though because i hate the energy system.

Feral cats weren't hard to get decent dps out of but I would say they were the most complex to maximize dps.

    Blood DK's rotation was ridiculous.

Ferals just John Madden'd after they put up bleeds: http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...dog/catdps.jpg

Enhancement Shaman and Frost DK were very complex, I played both of those classes as main aswell as feral druid as main at the time the first wing of ICC opened, so I'd say enhancement and frost DK were the most complex IF you did not have CLCDK/ShockAndAwe addon installed, because really, an addon that tells you what button to hit when in the middle of your screen?

people who use CLCDK make me laugh,dk rotation is already easymode its pretty sad if you need a add on to tell you how to play

and ive played frost before, its basically the same rotation only "hit this button when your proc comes up".unless frost has changed since wrath, cuz i know unholy outperforms frost anyway

Druid may or may not have been the most complex rotation, but it certainly had the highest dps loss from screwing up some aspect of it.

Having mained a warlock but also played a bit of feral kitty, it honestly wasn't any harder either way. It's just slightly different mechanics but a similar deal.

Really it just came down to which is harder for this fight, melee or ranged? (kitty or affliction)

    Agree......

You really needed to watch your timers carefully, in order not to miss out on dps. But the changes to SR and FB made cat rotation somewhat borin and much easier imo.

Played hunter, DK and cat in Wrath. Cat was miles ahead when it comes to hard rotation but ofc that's just my opinion.

I picked druid, but honestly there isn't any hard rotation in WoW. Aion gave me more trouble on that part.

Feral before mangle got superbuffed to a minute duration. After that, I'd say Enhancement shaman.

Currently: Subtlety Rogues - that's why nobody plays them in PvE, despite their DPS being viable.
    WotLK: Feral Druids
    BC: Shadowpriests

    I'd say enhancement shamans.

I have heard Shadow priests were difficult but I'm not familiar with how the spec was in wotlk.

Shadow priests in TBC had the hardest rotation/priority with all of their 3 DoT management, 2 spells to cast on CD (both mind blast and sw:death), and a filler which didn't even get much action because of everything else going on (mf).

In wotlk, sw: pain became a cast-once-then-ignore. DP got its duration increased. MB lost so much oomph that it could be cast only immediately following a re-application of VT and your dps wouldn't go down but maybe 1% at MOST. And sw:death became a forgotten spell because it hit like a shot from a wand! ESPECIALLY once you got the tier bonus reducing the MF cast speed, the shadow rotation became a complete JOKE!

now in cata, it's much more difficult than in wotlk, but I'm not too sure if it's quite at the TBC difficulty. My only real complaint is the RNG of shadow orbs which can really mess priorities up.

TL;DR: spriests were the hardest in TBC, a complete joke in WotLK, and can once again make a claim for one of the hardest in Cata.

    Wrath? Ferals.

And I don't think Spriests are very much different now from Wrath in terms of difficulty. Still fairly straightforward.

Then again my favorite classes/specs have been spriest/affliction/feral. I think I like pain, or something.

Probably Enhancement shaman and Feral druid.

Most classes, regardless of spec, were pretty faceroll.

    Shadow priests,
    Affliction warlocks
    Feral druids
and Enhancement shamans are the only real viable options in this poll.

    I voted Enhancement shaman myself.
