I wonder what they taste like.
pink dolphins are 14 feet in length and several hundred pounds so in proportion to our brains theirs is smaller.

My point was : it wouldn't necessarily kill them, be it in a short or long time delay, life is able to get over it.
Probably way more often than one could imagine, depending on the place in time and space..
I'm not able to explain this in english, I'm really sorry about that, but yeah, be sure it has happened, it is happening and it will happen in the future.
Of course, not in our extremely developed societies and huge cities (even if, looking at some countries, regions and cities in the world, you can still find pretty stunning things in relatively developed environments), but anytime there is a huge selection pressure somewhere (may it be purely natural, or cultural/societal), this is a common phenomenon and in most cases, nature gets over it.
