Any Chance for a DPS Legendary Next?

Well, what with the whole thing that hunters only have 2 Legendaries avalible to them, Thori'dal, and Thunderfury, I was wondering when if we might get a DPS legendary someday?

It might fit to give Hunters a new legendary ranged weapon, due the tons of motifs of Dragons in cata, and you know "Dragon Hunters". Pretty good opportunity to introduce a polearm/bow of some kind.

Sadly, the best weapons for hunters these days are polearms and staves. And only druids use agility staves and polearms. Still, I'm rather hopeful that hunters get a legendary of some kind in the near future, and maybe give shammys some legendary love too, as they only get- Wait.

Proud hunter here, but let's be realistic.

IF Blizzard decides to add a legendary that's viable to us, it's probably NOT going to be a bow, since there is currently ONE class that should equip a agi ranged weapon. Too few, in other words.

IF they decide to add a legendary polearm, it would also be of use to feral druids, and with the proper itemization, Blood DKs may start arguing about it if the agi outweighs the avoidance on other weapons AND it has Mastery on it. An interesting proc will also be a must. In that case, we're up to three classes, and we may be looking at some better chances. But don't count on it.

in an attempt to turn subject away from bad OP, i think there should be a tanking legendary someday. not sure what because of dk's and bears not using shields, but just a thought.

Hunters have had only 1 legendary made specifically for their class. Thunderfury is avalible to all sword wielding classes.

Hunter's last legendary was Thori'dal from Sunwell.

Rogue/Warrior got Glavies in BT
War/DK/Pally ha Shadowmourne In ICC
Druid/Shammy/Pally/Priest
And Warlock/Mage at least are getting a new legendary next.

So I think hunters and rogues are due for a new Legendary, seems to be our turn anyways.

I also apolgize for not being more specific with my title. I meant "agility" dps.

As for class avalibity, only two classes could use Glavies, so not quite sure what the problem is there.

And how does me asking if hunters should get a legendary avalible to them insinuate I am a poor player?

Personally I think tanks are the ones most due for a legendary. The only issue there is trying to come up with something that dk's,paladins,warriors and druids can all use. Cant use a shield cause that means dks and druids are out, cant use a 2 hander cause warriors and paladins are out, you could make it a split choice, but then how do you balance a 2 hander to a shield.

Yes, and now dps casters are getting their legendary. So agility DPSers should be next in line?

Note I never said a hunter exclusive legendary. Though a new tanking legendary might be a good idea too, considering they haven't got one since Thunderfury.

Stated a long time ago that a viable tank legendary would be an impenetrable back made of legendary dragonscales... But people keep scratching their heads with what those four classes have in common... Ah well.

Also, what is with this hunter legendary s#!t again.... Or, just give rogue, hunter and enhance shammies a legendary dagger so they STFU already...

wait this is really a troll right? and they wont make a tank one. dks dont use 1 handed as druids. and druids and dks dont use shields also. they would have to make 2 for all tanks to use unless it was like a ring/neck/trinket or something.

Perhaps the other agility classes could get a weapon and hunters get a special type of pet to tame.

Regardless, I am a bit beeved of the massive delcarations of "troll" I got when posting this.
