that's not what JC does, JC just gives you more powerful gems.

JC gives you three 'better' gems, not two extra gem slots.

But yes you can get both, and then you get 2 extra slots that you can put extra powerful gems into. JC is usually one of the best professions because there are a lot more options. Especially for tanks who stack avoidance or mastery. Plus JC gives you 1 extra over the other professions (81 strength instead of 80...)

i thought there was a prof that deal with rings, forgot which is it....
