I wasn't aware you worked at blizzard and somehow have insider information on the next expansion, any other information you can share with us? e.g. release date, name, main villain, how much raid content, any new pvp scenarios?

Also, you seem to be forgetting, we've pretty much JUST got into cataclysm, there's at least a year or two before the next expansion, kinda a while to leave something this minor.

1.) They wanted to do it for Cataclysm then ran out of time, they will *not* do something that major in the middle of the expansion. It be paraded around as a bullet point for the next expansion

2.) We may have just gotten into Cataclysm, but considering they've said publicly that paid expansions will be coming faster and the leaked info sheet that had a new expansion slated for Q2 2012, it'll be a hell of a lot quicker than last time.

Blizzard is lazy as hell with art assets in this game, like insanely lazy. Fly by night Korean MMO devs put in more effort to player asset variety than Blizzard does. I just am shocked that they'd do anything new that they'd just have to touch up again later.

Won't matter though, even if character textures are improved, they'll skimp on modeling and never dream of adding much needed frames of animation. Also, god forbid armor stops being flat textures.
