    I disagree with this. Your preconceptions of what the word "robot" means are caused by the limited abilities we currently have in the field. It would be completely possible to create a sentient being with programming and circutry. And if we did, it wouldn't be any less of a person than you or me.

    You realize that feelings are just chemical reactions in your brain, right? If you were to recreate that in a computer program for an android's brain then they would experience feeling the same as we do.
