The grip is very similar to a minigun.
That's what I meant by clumsy, works nice when it comes to cutting wood but for actual mobility you're limited by a poor handle.

Which of course leads us to this.
    And that's my new choice.

Haha, that's one of my favorite videogame weapons of all time.

I think in the hands of an untrained person like myself(in terms of medieval weapon usage) i think a general sword/katana or bat/spade would work best. Something not to long or to short which u can wield with significant force and speed yet not sacrifice to much reach.

Katana(lightweight razor sharp)/farmers SHOVEL OF DOOM
Kolopotho: I will find it incredibly shocking and rare if some guy walks up to a girl in a pub and says "i play a level 80 druid in world of warcraft" to which she will respond with "TAKE ME NOW".

For us untrained people - and if projectile weapon isnt allowed and chain saws is to clumsy, i think my choice would be a caddle prod. Then i wish my opponent would wear plate armor.

    Claymore 2handed sword

I'd probably be able to swing it a couple of times before dropping it, though.

    Rapier swords.

While everyone and their grandmothers are all having that samurai sword hype, I am always more into the rapier.

Just feels a lot more artistic.

    LIGHT SABER!

Oh real? Probably a one hand sword, so I can have two in each hand and go fucking Shadowbringer!
Shadowbringer is my own fantasy, don't try to understand!

    Obligatory appearance in this thread.

Katana is good, or else a lunar staff.

I have a steel pipe and I'm going to weld nails on it to make it hurt more.
I call it my "Burglar stick"

My wireless keyboard. Ive already had to use it once on this guy that just walked into my apartment. He started screaming at me, asking why I was in his apartment, and where I put his stuff.

Whacked him once on the head, then pushed him back out the door. Never heard from him again.

My hands, I don't think I'd get the same effect out of a weapon as those.
