My 10man raid got it to 25% after the third scorpion and during the next cat phase we got pwn by the orb and the leaping flame.

Once the range who got the debuff from the orbs got targeted by the cat he is dead.

Need advice, tips etc on this part of the fight.

Just remember that his abilities do more as the fight continues. So while you might be able to push to 9 stacks on the first scorpion phase and, say, 7 on the first lynx phase, you can't heal through the same damage 3 minutes into the fight. So you have to gradually transition him more and more freqently (i.e. at less and less stacks) as the fight continues, and find the appropriate balance. It changes for every group.

From what it sounds like, your group just isn't pushing it over into the next form fast enough when you're at 25%, and you're trying to heal through the same stacks you did at the beginning of the fight.

Yep we push 10 stacks on the first scorpion, 6 stacks on first cat, 5 stacks on 2nd scorpion (searing seeds), 6 stacks on 2nd cat, 6 stacks on 3rd scorpion (CDs are up so we can last abit longer). Then come the part we wiped for the whole night.

At the 3rd cat phase, the orbs spawn. We had range and healers group up to take the debuff. So everything goes fine until a cat decided to leap on one of the player taking the debuff. With the debuff and the leaping flames, unless its a mage that can blink out of it, other players will get at least 2 ticks from the flame and combine with the ticks from the debuff it always kill a player.

That is the problem we are facing. Just wondering if theres something wrong with our strategy or how others deal with the orbs and leap together.

We did 8->5->8->5->don't remember->dead boss.

On the flame orbs we had 2 dps on each and they traded off as soon as the other's debuff was gone. You need to be moving before he lands on you. he targets and jumps and you have time to make some distance before he lands so you take minimal damage.

Ok, I guess we need to anticipate the leap then.

Another question, when do you guys do hero/lust? We use it on the 2nd scorpion phase as there are no def cd thus we blast hero to keep up with the heals. Any suggestion for which hero will be most effective?

The best time for bloodlust is the very first scorpion phase.
Basically, you want to pop BL at ~5th lash, and healer CDs at 6/8/10 -- you can easily last till 10-11 stacks, we've used 10 this week, but everyone was topped off easily, so 11-12 is probably possible too with cds and bl healing. This way you'll have the most of BL for both DPS (the whole bl duration just standing in place pew-pewing) and healers.

no lol, soak the 8-9 stack with cds on 1st scorp, then pop lsuit on second scorp at 3-4 to soak another 3 with personals and stuff.

BL will be waste on seconed scorpion due to people have to move with debuff.

First scorpion dmg in 10 man is joke get 10 stacks while using cd for 8-9-10
While in orb phase players who soak the orb need to put extra attention to boss leap and move from the area (if they still have to get debuff just move carefully to other orb side)

Well it's pretty obvious that the beginning of the fight is the best time to use bl. The boss doesn't have the buff yet, everyone has trinkets and stuff proc'ced, all 10 people will benefit from the whole duration of BL. Obvious.
