[Music] Suggestion for some Country Rock
Heya, just got done playing some Starcraft 2, and I was really digging the country rock that was playing. Does anyone know any songs that are similar to the country rock music in SC2?

I don't really know a whole lot of artists because I don't listen to country all that often, but my suggestion is go to pandora.com and create a genre station for country rock, then you can discover some artists you like. I do that all the time when I find new music that I really like.

I don't remember what the music on the game sounded like, but heavier bluegrass would be along the lines of 16 Horsepower/Woven Hand and heavier folk would be more like Mumford and Sons. Those are the closest genres to proper country I listen to.

The genre is usually called Southern Rock, and the obvious place to start is Lynyrd Skynyrd and work you way through all their clones from there.
In fact, I think Sweet Home Alabama is played on SC2.
