Lol its not true my friend, warlock are fine in pvp. affliction is one of the strongest actually, and every class dies to warriors, rogues, and paladins. if anything, we are one of the best at surviving due to soul link, but we dont have any defensive cds besides death coil and demonic portal. So yeah that guy is bad at the game and is QQing, roll a lock, were better then mages (not in particular pvp, were just much better)

I can see that happening as soon as those 378+ weapons are common.
He probably played 2s with his lock, which is a terrible terrible idea.

The OP had MAZZIVE Mastery stacking. For PvP, that's Bad for locks. It's almost as bad as stacking Spirit for Mages is.

Its true. You have to use cc and kiting to avoid damage as ranged class. As any ranged class. Its definitely not warlocks who got weakest defensive abilities out of all ranged.
Its just different style of playing. You should not allow melee to hit you, or you will die. Melee should not allow you to shoot them from range, or they will die. I'm 100% sure that you could find thread "Those locks are just too op, they run around pillars and dot me to death!"

that sinas is indeed a retard and stacking wrong stats does not make warlocks who do it right any more viable :/

Saw the thread, made me giggle a bit... and obviously he comes across like an idiot.
However, to me, it looks like he's talking from a purely warlock vs melee perspective, which is true... warlocks have difficulty there. (Not to say it means we aren't a powerful pvp class at the moment, but from a 2v2 or just warlock vs melee perspective, warlocks aren't too hot)

Yeah I agree with this there no doubt about it the OP was lets say not the best representative of the class, but his rant does have some merit, come on if he was a mage he wouldn't be making these threads.

Mmyeah I just think that melee are warlocks biggest weaknesses for sure... and fighting melee (which cant be kited) is just RAGERAGERAGERAGERAGE.

But at the same time, I don't know if buffing warlocks against melee can be done without us actually becoming OP... we might actually be really indestructable then X:

That warlock guy is probably just terribad at what he does, anyone can get "superb" gear nowadays and this joker probably just bought some gold online, got himself boosted and bought the best enchants on the AH. Now he is whining because he gets ripped apart by people who put time and effort into learning the class they play and the classes they fight.

Well geared WARLOCK vs Low geared melee.... melee wins (Unless they can be kited..)
Although I don't like using the term 'melee'... the problem is mostly dks/warriors... although rogues are becomign harder and harder too X:

There is nothing wrong with warlock in PvP, warlock have been having issues with melee for years now, if the DK/Rogue is decent we don't stand a chance without a bit of RNG luck. As for enchancement shamans? *facepalm*

Someone tell this guy that having resilience doesn't make you invincible, nor' does it play the fucking game for you. Jesus christ, this is why warlocks can't have good things!

This doesn't make sense! However I agree, as I said earlier... I'm not sure warlocks really warrant a buff against melee since we're so powerful in general.
BUT some people don't acknowledge warlocks do have weaknesses.
