Best warlock spec right now? Does aff beat destro currently?

I'm not talking about cutting edge gameplay for world first hard modes here, I'm talking an alt that I'd like to get the best out of for raiding casual 10 mans.
Which spec is the best? Destro or Aff for PvE dps in general? Talking on bosses, not retarded AoE sessions like Halfus heroic or Maloriak heroic. Just simple DPS.

So aff is purely haste? No mastery?

there is no best spec do to the minimal difference in their dps (except maybe for destro, but they have utility) you would be better off reading up the specs on EJ

IIRC, EJ mentioned that there's a max of about 5% DPS difference if you're playing optimally. This means that you should just play the spec that you find most enjoyable/easiest because, in the long run, that will increase your DPS more than playing the "correct" spec.

Iirc destro is even below demo in single target fights, i recently saw an updated spreadsheet on the specs and it goes Demo > afflic > destro. Admittidly i dont have a link to it right now but you'll just have to trust me. As for stats for afflic you only want 30% haste fully raid buffed at max this far into the expansion, this is because you wont be able to reach the next threshold at the current gear levels.

As Demo i personally go with haste to 1993 for the extra tick then stack as much mastery as poss. Its not the same for every, since everone has a different playstyle you could quite easily just stack mastery and do very decent dps.
