    Catloaf.
    FUCK YOU 10 CHARS.
    Religion is like a penis.
    It's fine to have one.
It's fine to be proud of it.
But please, don't whip it out in public and wave it around,
And please, don't try to shove it down my children's throats.

    Wait...

Are you telling me you don't know what you, YOURSELF, would want???

If Dad is willing to drop $500 on you, ask for something you ordinarily wouldn't, but really want.

Is there anything you's actually need (like a new cellphone to replace a broken one)? If your dad is willing to spend 500 dollars on your birthday gift, I suspect not. So ask something for a hobby, like an instrument or computer parts Also, are you turning 18? In that case, do your parents pay for your drivers licence (assuming you don't live somewhere you alredy got that at 16)? Are you planning to move in to your own apartment? Because in that case having some extra cash wouldn't hurt.

Why don't you ask your dad to give you $500 cash? Then you can buy the gift for yourself. To be honest, 30.July is my birthday, but I've only got a CD from my best friend and a wallet from my girlfriend as gift.

ask for it in cold hard cash and wait for the wii-u or microsoft's or sony's equivalent to drop

I'd give you an inch, you'd take me a mile, your tail wagging happily all the while.

In all seriousness... Bacon. $500 worth of Bacon. It is versatile and can be used for almost anything. You can use it to make a bra for your significant other, which you can then eat. You can make an internet video and become famous if you say "And bacon strips and bacon strips". Wan't something sweet? Put some brown sugar on it and make candy bacon. Being attacked by a dog? Throw some bacon. Want to go fishing? You have bacon. The possibilities with bacon are nearly endless.

500 bucks for your B-Day? Damn. All I get is a card and a home cooked dinner from my folks.

If you have a choice, go for an amazon gift card If it was me, I would buy xbox360 since my last one got fried. If there was anything leftover I would get some new clothes.

Personally, I would say surprise me, because I like surprises, I don't like knowing what I'm going to get, what fun is that?

500 of the $1 double cheeseburgers at BK
    22 miles of hard road
    33 years of tough luck
44 skulls buried in the ground
    Crawling down through the muck

There's quite a bit you could get with that money.
