This will be stupid. Pandaria is full of gayness
Metal Crusader
Rerolling a drunk panda Brewmaster. Maybe that'll be the new hero class.

Unless this "expansion" is being tied into the supposed Azshara expansion, theyd be creating completely new villians and storylines from scratch.
isnt this on the MMO Champ front page?

This all makes so much sense, and is perfectly in line with what we discussed in this topic a few weeks ago:
http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/944214-Cataclysm-is-underway-but-what-comes-next-New-Potential-expansions-thread/page3
So basically, here's my take on it:
The ancient continent of Pandaria has been shrouded from the rest of the world through powerful ancient magics by the isolationist pandaren, to protect them from the rest of the mayhem befalling the rest of Azeroth when the Burning Legion first invaded, hence the Mists of Pandaria, the name of the massive cloaking spell cast once upon Pandaria. Pandaria is located in the large sea, "the other side of Azeroth", named The Forbidding Sea and the Veiled Sea, respectively by the people of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
But alas, with the Cataclysm a rupture happens and an exceptionally powerful Old God who used to dwell under the continent breaks lose, besetting the ancient and peaceful cultures of Pandaria (which does indeed include Kvaldir in the North, yet another previously unknown Troll Kingdom and some other random races (Tol'Vir and what have you).
As the plight of the people of Pandaria worsens, a council of Pandaria is gathered and through a narrow vote a decidion is made to lift the Mists and send ambassadors to the other continents of Kalimdor (hello launch event...), pleading for help from the Alliance and the Horde against the nameless Old God - who has now also been joined by corrupted sub-factions of Pandaria.
Oh and there and Nagas and all the standard foes as well, plus 2-3 brand new NPC races (aside from the obvious Pandaren), one of which is a grindable faction who provides should enchantments. These could look anyway, but is likely to be Asian themed. maybe some kind of Centaur-like race with a culture similar to Mongolian nomads.
We will be given a new class, the Brewmaster (who wears leather and has three specs, a Monk melee class, a healer spec and a caster spec of some sort, hence adding more use for Int leather), but no new playable races this xpac.
We will also be promised a useless cosmetic feature, in the fine old tradition of Dance Studios, the plans for which will be scrapped before beta begins.
Mists of Pandaria will be announced on Blizzcon 2011 and rumours during launch will state that development is far gone and a launch may be likely during Q2 2012, like the leaked product slate stated, however this is never confirmed by Blizz and as the months go by it will eventually turn out that these hopes were unfounded and premature and that the beta does in fact start in June 2012 and the patch is in fact released in November 2012.
Mists of Pandaria will be a great success initially, but compaints will grow that it caters too much to casuals and also many will say that it is just th same old grind, although everyone do agree that the continent of Pandaria, as well as the final version of Pandaren (although complaints on the initial model will say that the pandaren look too cute), will look SPECTACULAR, and the quests are awesome fun, Blizz have really outdone themselves in that regard, but thefre is something still missing.
The initial raid tier will be deemed somewhat lackluster (2 raid instances, one featuring a corrupted troll demigod and the other ... some.. thingy, maybe a naga lord) but there will be great hopes for the second tier who will feature something cool. Complaints about the second tier will focus on the fights being overtuned (which was a reaction to the previous tier being undertuned, which was a reaction to Cataclysm being harsher tuned, which was a reaction to WotlK being easy mode... anyway, I digress).
That's all I know for now.
CATA is dead. Long live MOP.
Will there be lots of PANDAS?!
See what I did, pandaria, pandas.... oh nevermind.
Monk class, gogo! I don't think we'll get any new races though.
