Yea it was good. Although wrestling has become predicable and storylines aren't that interesting.

Can't help but get the feeling it's a work though - c'mon, we all know it's scripted, we all know it's known for being larger than life & CM Punk is known for being "at the edge" so it's not exactly out of the realms of possibility it's scripted, if it wasn't scripted they'd have cut the mic a lot sooner & would have known it wasn't scheduled, but still arguably the best promo for a while.

predictable, storyline, script or not...that promo was the most compelling thing the wwe has done since the original Nexus attack

Chris Jericho millenium was the best, though.
The perfumed* boys he wrapped in chains and threw into the sea. They were unnatural creatures, and the ship smelled better once cleansed of their presence.

But I agree, one of the best promos ive ever seen.
Stone Cold himself tweeted that Punk melted his 52 inch tv with just how awesome the promo was, said it was the best hed seen in a long time.

I haven't been so impressed by CM Punk as of yet, but God damn...
That was some good shit, right there.
I wonder how much of it is staged. Surely all of it, but it still sounded like a lot of it came from the heart.
Or CMP's just a really good actor, I don't know.
It'll be fun to see how this progresses.

It was a awesome promo, but was scripted. WWE Planned ahead to have RAW just cut off at the end. They Displayed the WWE Copyright graphic at 11:00 instead of a few seconds before they go off the air like they do every other night.

Next weeks RAW was taped last night cause next Monday is the 4th of July and they'll be in Australia.
Yes he was "suspended". But John Cena demanded he got reinstated. Vince said he was suspended 'cause he didn't want him leaving with the belt. Cena said he wasn't scared and would leave if Punk wasn't put back into the main event. Vince put Punk back into the match but told John that if he loses and Punk leaves with the belt that Cena would be fired.

Call me biased, but wrestling will never again be as good as it was at the height of the WCW/WWF feuds (the whole nWo stuff, and WWF had Attitude with the Rock and Stone Cold). It was ok before, had it's pinnacle at that time, and went downhill rather fast after it.
You know what is better than drinking a beer? Brewing your own beer. And then drinking it. And then... Drinking another beer. And then, punching somebody in the snout! That's what!

I normally can't stand CM Punk, however. The promo last night had my wife and myself in awe. Getting her to be in awe over anything CM Punk was pretty impressive.
