Hunter Transmog Discussion

The obligatory question after we got the confirmation that "The Transmogrifier NPC will let you change the appearance of any armor piece on you, while retaining the stats of your current gear"

So what is your favorite hunter gear/set that you will use?

I have yet not decided between Tier 2 (BWL), Tier 2.5 (AQ40), Tier 5 (SSC-TK), Sunwell gear, Tier 8 (Ulduar)!

Gonna be hard to decide, I will probablly put together the perfect ninja assasin combo with a mix of TBC sets and vanilla sets. I really wanna try to get that cool dagger from MC.

I think most of us have no interest in reading what the 9 other classes will be wearing, this is only for hunters.

Also for the others mentioning weapons transmogrifying, I really doubt the feature will be available for weapons too, I think it will be for armor only.

I would use it to give my PvE gear the look of the last set of TBC arena gear.
I just can't seem to get enough of that fel-armor look

I loved my druid T6 set, sadly I deleted it in WotLK... so, maybe I'll farm it again.

But now I'm playing a Warrior this expansion as a main and I always loved Warrior T6 so, definitely, farm incoming lol

T11 which is the only hunter set which isn't butt ugly.

I think I'll try to find the most ugly Tier items and use them as I don't give a damn how I look but just to get some funny reactions form other players

I play the game for fun and don't really care about how my char looks as long as I give good dps, heal great and do some awesome tanking.

I'm not so sure about the bolded part, the translated article on the front page says equipment, and not just armor, but you could be right

Tier 6 if you can choose any, but t10 if it has to be one you already have.

it said that you have to 'stay within the class', and also the 2 pieces being combined must be the same armor class. so, does this mean we can collect a whole set of shaman gear, as long as the shaman pieces dont have a shaman requirement on them?

it sounds a lot like the 'looks' piece gets destroyed, so you may or may not want to use gear that is no longer obtainable.


also, i'll assume i can go grab some lvl 10 mail pieces and deck my toon out to look like a scrub?

What?????!!?!?!! In my opinion T11 was one of the worst, while T5 T6 and T12 were the best.
