Watched all three again recently and was curious as to which people preferred. Going to add a poll, please if you can, offer a reason why. For me, it's the first one because I loved Marlon Brando as the Godfather.

First and second one are equally similar in "the best".
I guess I'll have to say second one though, I loved the whole, the rise of Vito Corleone, how he came to be one of the most powerful family's.
The second one, by miles and miles.
First two are both amazing, but I would say the first one is just a tad better, if only for so many iconic scenes.
The first one had the best casting in the history of holywood. My favorite though is the second one, where Pacino's character gets depth and complexity beyond every other figure in the series. He's always lying, he's manipulating and he tries to both be different than his father and still ruthless, unmersifull and shrewd as Vito.
I think the third one has a fair bit of good stuff in it, although the first is best.
