Its possible that Ash could get CharYzard. Origins had ChariXard, new mega evolution anime thing has ChariXard and apparently the protagonist got the stone for CharYzard, but hasn't used it yet.
Ash getting Y would fit the puzzle.

He still needs to win a league let alone the Elite 4, just remember the fight of Paul vs Cynthia, Paul was Ash's main rival that season and he barely beat him. Cynthias Garchomp didnt even flinch at one of Pauls attacks

This. The way it is in the anime is: Collect 8 badges > Enter Conference (Massive tournament involving all trainers who got 8 badges) > Winner of Conference can officially challenge the E4.

Then after you beat the E4 you can possibly challenge the Champion. E4 members are able to challenge the Champion, and if they win they can take the Title of Champion.

Ash has unofficially battled E4 members, such as Drake and Lucian. But he had his ass handed to him, iirc.

Ash has fought Bertha, Flint (although Flint was taking the place of Volkner as Gym leader, due to Volkner's refusal to fight; Flint also challenged and fought Cynthia, but lost), Drake, Prima (Lorelei), and Agatha (challenged her while she was a temporary Gym leader).

Yeah I still need to watch Origins too. Is it literally just Red/Blue version as seen from the characters perspective rather than our top-down perspective? Because I see these screen caps with dialogue boxes in them.

im kind of hoping charizard isnt to awesome to play as now that hes a full character since i really wanna main megaman. so excited for smash bros.

anyways for you guys hoping to see blaziken and lucario fight theres still pokken fighters/tournament that will probably be a fighting game for wiiu
