I half agree and half don't. I agree, mostly due to looks. Some of them I'd much rather keep that way forever, even if they don't keep the stats. Originally Posted by zwiggy
I disagree because any pokemon that DOESN'T have a mega, would never be used in competitive battling (unless it was already broken). With stats and abilities that MegaGengar and MegaAlakazam have, you'd never use another ghost or psy pokemon. Even moreso when they can hold things like Life Orb, Choice <Item>, and Leftovers.

The "issue" is that the VGC doesn't use Smogon teirs. Go to the VGC and everyone would be using all mega forms with the previously mentioned items.

Talonflame is awesome, had pretty bad moveset for a long time.
