I like the designs of Uni 6. They look like diff Toriyama styles

The robot looks like he is straight outta comp.... Chronotrigger (like the same as your robot friend in Chronotrigger)
The saiyan looks more dragon ball and maybe Chronotrigger
The new Frieza looks like Super
The Winne the Pooh, looks like he is fron dragon quest
The purple guy (heat) looks like he is straight out of DBZ

The difference in a company who actually cares about their work. Toei is garbo. While Madhouse actually tries.

I'm worried there might not be a season 2 though, season 1 ended at ep. 12 with no confirmation of another. Could be those awesome fights make production values a wee bit too high. OPM is a really great series though, I like that they don't use a ton of filler and when they add something it's usually an awesome monster or more action.

I noticed many series get only 12 episodes per season but quality is waaay better when they have ~24 or are an ongoing series.
Maybe they realized it's better to split into smaller season s for better quality.

I don't think there's enough Murata material for another seasons of OPM. Murata works somewhat slow and his chapters are short because he spends a LOT of time erasing and redrawing stuff. I watch his stream occasionally when he is drawing chapters and it's rediculous the amount of work he will just erase because he doesn't think it looks 100% perfect. The Garou arc just started in the redrawn manga and it's moving along very sluggishly. Before Garou is only a few little arcs which can both be resolved in like an episode. Another problem is that ONE is just past said arc and also updates the original web comic very infrequently because he's doing Mob Psyco full time (and now it's getting an anime as well, so you might want to check it out if you need more ONE humor to fill the void).

There might be a few more OVAs though.

On topic, I have a sneaking suspicion that the robot is also a Sayian. It seemed like Champa was going to pick two sayians to match Goku and Vegita so I was surprised when it was only one. I also thought they would be a girl because of little focus on Vegita talking about Bulma and Chi-Chi in the last chapter though and it seems I was wrong

I watched the latest DBS episode, man the thing looks like it was animated by a group of 10 year olds, it's really so bad I can't see how they can release this stuff. I've never seen such shoddy animation like this before, I mean I dont think I've ever watched an anime before and thought to myself "whoa they should have hired some better artists".. The original DB/DBZ series was flawless in this regard, the new movies are great too but this last episode of DBS really made me cringe..

Not only that but the fighting scenes are weak, it's almost like they are limited by what the artists can do and so they are just bah.. I should probably just call it a day on this new series, it feels like I'm watching some wonky fan-fiction effort.

There are a few studios I'd love to have doing Super instead of TOEI, really. Zero chance though lol

Because TOEI an SJ got contracts for years between one another.

Either way I don't like how Madhouse bought out other companies :/ Recently in Ippo season 3 they out sourced through another studio an notably you could see the fall in quality during episodes.
