Like... let's say... boss puts a debuff on you that deals 100% of your health over 6 seconds. Pop that rewind time ability, rewind to full health 4 seconds in, then the last 2 seconds tick and bring you down to only like, 70-80% instead.
Oooh... there's an interesting thing to consider... rewinding back through received heals. Mages will have to co-ordinate that survival tool with healers or risk wasting the healer's time or mana.
Healer brings you to 100%, rewind activates, suddenly your health is gone again.
Yeah... pretty useless tool (unless it resets CDs as well)... but still an interesting one.
If it does reset CD's... then you get to use all your CD's twice every 4 mins, instead of just the once. I like that idea.
It makes the thread feel more like home to me.
