While I wont go as far as to say the kid deserved it, the kid was a troll and had it coming. How many times have you thought or told a troll, "You would not have the balls to say that IRL". Theese trolls know they wont get touched for trolling and push people somtimes beyond human endurance. Trolling has lead to suicide and looks like severe beatings now. Im not suprised and frankly I expect shit like this to increase. Retribution.

So some kid got mouthy after killing a guy in a game because anonymity allows everyone to be assholes, and the guy tracked him down and choked him? This sounds like the real answer to stopping trolls. If everyone that trolled anyone got choked I imagine there would be a significant decrease in trolling in games and on forums and the world would be a better place...except for the ones that like being choked, but that's a different story.

Still, I dont think that someone normal, would try to kill a 13-year old boy for calling him a noob, or telling him to learn to play... By the way, the kid just called him a noob in chat, and I know that because the kid is an old friend of mine

This was in the The Sun paper today, apparently the adult knew this child and has played previous games with him, he just lost the plot when he got killed and the child called him a name or something.

Given every interview from the guy said the kid repeatedly baited him, and kids are very good at pretending that they were the innocent party, I find this VERY hard to believe. It's just like that kid who gave that bully a piledriver in australia, the second people started rallying behind the kid who got bullied, the bully started saying he was bullied first. It's likely just him bullshitting to get him off the hook.

While what the adult did was idiotic and doesn't need to happen, I'm one of those people who just can't stand when others go out of their way to be total dicks to you or others. Sure, we can get into a heated match of something and just lose or win and have the urge to get fired up about it, but people who play games to epeen flex and act all tough really need to shut their mouths. I'm not just saying this because I lose frequently either... it's annoying as hell to have someone running their mouth even if you're winning.

I'm also someone who believes in extra poignant justice for those who go out of their way to act like idiots, so I find it in some ways amusing that this kid got to learn the extra hard way what happens when you disrespect people. I think lesson learned on both sides of this one. Just think too, if you had the same degree of action/consequence from this example applied to other things in life, I guarantee you people would be less likely to do stupid things...

I don't wanna call you a liar mate but no way. The kid had to have said more then noob. I have played cod 13 year olds are vicious in their berating of people.

I can understand that guy. I personaly many many times get games to personall.
So say that I am too emotional.
Example is when playing racing games, after few races it gives me so adrenaline boost that I have release it somewhere.
In my youth I destroyed many keyboards.
Now I am destroying my cups lol.
