    Could I SLI 570's on a Seasonic X-650?

This has really just been on my mind for a while now, and I was just wondering whether I would be able to SLI 570's with the current set-up I'm running. Doesn't worry me if I cant though,

    i7 2600k @ 4.4GHz
    8GB G.Skill RAM
    EVGA GTX570 HD
    ASUS P8Z68-V PRO

    And.. Seasonic X-650

    Cheers

    According to Guru3d:

The card will use around 213 Watts alone under full load, so SLI would take 426. I probably wouldn't do it with a cheap PSU but you have a Seasonic so you 'should' be ok. If you intend on overclocking the GPUs in addition to the CPU you may not have enough power.

no you need at least a quality 750 unless you ditch ur OC completely then mabye but its gonna run at high load all the time and burn out.. if you can afford to SLI just get a good PSU

in theory yes, but it depends on how many drives, what overclocks etc you have running, and don';t be surprised if it collapses on high loads

It would likely work. 20A per card, your PSU has 56A on the 12V-rail. I wouldn't much like it myself, though.

It's not like his PSU isn't a "good PSU". I can't think of any consumerlevel PSUs in the 650w-class that would beat it.

They're also testing using a i7-965, which takes a bit more power than the 2600k counterpart. I would recommend turning down the overclock on the cpu especially if it's taking a lot of vcore to run it at the 4.4

Honestly, you should be fine. Seasonic are a reliable manufacturer, and it's not exactly as if you're asking to run hardware pulling 100W over the rated wattage.
