Ultra settings. Get sometimes over 200FPS in an empty area of org. Normally like 115-120 FPS in Org. 10/10 ftw

    I'd say a 6/10.

    i5-650
    Sapphire Radeon 5770
    2GB ddr3

I think my system is kinda underperforming.. Could be the ram tho. Sucks to be poor.. (1 year old build btw.)

    9.5-10 no doubt.

    AMD X4 965 BE @ 3.9GHz
    ATI HD 5850
    4Gb 1333MHz DDR3

50-60 fps most of the time in 25-mans, everything on Ultra 4x AA, alas only 1680x1050 resolution, windowed.

I think 8/10 is reasonable. I have absolutely no problems with it whatsoever, might if I got a 1920x1200 monitor and pumped it to 8x AA.

9/10. Inherited my desktop from my father when he bought a new computer about a year ago which allowed me to upgrade from the 8 year old thing I was using (3 fps on normal 10 man encounters, 0.2 when I tried 25 man raiding, EVERYTHING was on the lowest possible, only WoW and ventrilo running and played around with the processes to get as much as I could. This computer, when I bought it a new graphics card, can get me 170 fps then sitting in a quiet area on medium settings and around 40 on Ultra in Org.

About 5/10 for my laptop. Slightly jittery but alright.

    AMD x4 640 Processor
    3.0 GHz
    ATI HD 5770
    8Gb DDR3 ram

Typically 40-60 fps with most setting maxed (shadows turned down ect) 7/10

Probably upgrading my graphics card in the next 6 months or so, any recommendations? (there isn't enough room in my case to run dual 5770s so that option is out)

Only 20 FPS on Mal'ganis in Org a couple of seconds ago with everything on max ultra.
So no idea on numbers, but I'm happy with it.

    Gigabyte GTX 580 Superoverclock
    6GB 1600mhz DDR3
    Corsair Force GT 120gb

With VSync on (120hz) I have 90-120 constantly in instances and such, goes down a bit in Orgrimmar but I don't even smell the slightest bit of lag anywhere though.

    V-Sync Disabled
    8x Anisotropic
The rest is maxxed out on Ultra or High if that's the highest option.

Unfortunately i cannot add a screen of my UI (new member). But now i have around 40-45fps outside Stormwind Auctionhouse. On wednesdays around 6PM i have maybe 20fps.

i7 2600k @ 4.7GHz, Sapphire ATI 6970 2G, Western Digital 500g 7200 rpm HDD, 8G Ripjaws 1600 ram, Antec 750W PSU, Cooler Master 932 Haf Case, Cooler Master 212 Hyper heatsink, Windows 7 64 bit... You guys are overrating your PC's too much. I consider my computer a 7/10, so you people with anything less than this are more like 4/10 or 3/10... I'm comparing mine to i7 990x, xfiging 6990's or SLI 590's... What are you guy's benchmarks? Cuz i've seen people say 10/10 for a quad core and some old gen 5xxx series ATI or some 2xx Nvidia. Atleast i'm being realistic.

10/10 @ max settings I guess. Never dip below 70 fps even in SW @ 1920x1080. (Not sure if org is more crowded but I haven't been to horde side in years so not sure about that.)

you consider running wow at max settings at over 60 fps less than a 10/10? it looks as good as it's ever going to look, it runs as smooth as it's ever going to run, it's a 10/10

sure, you may consider your computer a 7/10 on other games, or compared to better systems, but if you'r running wow at best quality and smooth as a babys arse you're running a 10/10 as far as wow goes (unless you consider 10/10 to be constant 300+ fps?)

seems more you're under rating your own/other systems

    Date purchased: October 2008.
    Dell Inspiron 1720 (notebook/laptop)
    Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor @ 2.5GHz
    4Gb DDR2 RAM
Replaced the HDD once with just a basic 500Gb laptop HDD - probably 5400RPM; nothing special
GeForce 8600GT M - replaced with the exact same card when my previous one burned out
    Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit

The game used to run ok. I've tried to keep the laptop cleaned of bits and bobs by running CCleaner, SuperAntiSpyware, etc, and have over half of the HDD free. But these days, the game barely runs. Most of the time it runs at 10FPS, even in instances. Sometimes in cities it is nearly impossible to move at all.

I'm not sure what I can do to clean up my system and have it running as it once did. I just look forward to getting a desktop PC one day, once things have settled down. Then I will be able to better enjoy all sorts of things, from WoW to other games.

I forgot to add: I run at medium settings with a lot of stuff turned down or off. I can't even see some spell effects because if I turned things up any more it would be nigh on unplayable.

Rating: 3/10 - the game is only just playable most of the time.

    I have:
    Q6600 @3.2GHz
    GTX 295 (896mb)
    8gb of DDR2 ram

    I'd give it a 5.5/10 for WoW.

But I want to upgrade my graphics card. Friend I know suggested that I should get either a GTX 570 or a 6850. What would you suggest?
