I am having some issues with my dps. I can't seem to do a consistent DPS as sometimes I am doing great and sometimes I am doing really bad. My average dps is not that great. I usually open my rotation with a prepot + glaive toss > BW+Rapidfire+racial+KC > Stampede> direbeast + serpent sting after BW finishes. Please let me know if its a bad or good rotation. I don't seem to put a great deal in dire beast tbh as I see it as a focus regeneration ability rather than a damaging one. Apart of that, I always seem to manage to use my abilities on CD and making use of 2 KCs in every BW. Looking forward for your responses and appreciated.

you should apply serpent sting immediately after KC, it will snapshot the 10% increased damage done plus any stacks of 4set and all your trinkets etc.

dire beast should be used on cd, it's a large part of your dps. In fact it should be highest priority skill in your normal rotation.

you got a low overall KC usage and as you said you don't use DB for damage which is apparent when you have less than optimal use of it in a lot of fights.

Hey I am looking at what I can do to improve my dps, atm I can do about 280k on most fights but I feel I should be doing 300k on theses fights from other people in the same type of gear, I think my opener needs a bit of work

Really low uptime on SS+BA (69%+57%), cleave trinket is garbage, do not use it, and make sure you stack your stampedes with AoC+troll racial.

yeh need to work on that when there is more then one boss, no other trinket drops for me or i lose it in a pug -.- also should I wait on aoc to use stampede and troll racial and rf I guess

RF doesn't affect anything except your focus regen, autoshot speed and cast time. So use it whenever.

Use timetodie so you know if you can fit your second stampede in with dextrous. If not then just make sure it will get its full duration off on the boss, stacking it with whatever is possible is never going to negatively impact dps (aslong as its not costing a usage of the skill over the fight) but not everything will be a dps gain with it.. Getting dextrous with stampede is more important than heroism etc, so judge accordingly

I think it's indeed mostly the uptimes you are struggling with (although that cleave trinket is very underwhelming as well.....) losing out on possible explosive shots and just the sheer dmg output of both serpent sting and BA is huge for survival, just focus on that and you'll be fine. Just make a weakaura for both of them, it really helped me time black arrows out perfectly and keep serpent sting up 99.9 percent of the time.

So basically I'm having a really bad time managing my Focus and I've no idea what to do about it, I know in theory I need to do less Cobra shots and more Arcane shots but I've been trying that and it doesn't seem to be working for me, just wondering if there's any other info out there could help me? Like at what number do you guys use Cobra shots? And what number of focus would you use Arcane to dump it?

SV or BM? As both you ALWAYS want to be using your main spell on CD, so try not to thing of it as using more AS, but more trying not to waste either any focus, by capping focus (except in certain circumstances ofc, eg ES spam as SV) or any CD time by not having enough focus when your spells come off of CD and having to cobra/wait for passive regen. If you do both of these right, the extra AS's just fit in.

Slightly less than optimal KC usage, make sure it is getting used on cd. Other than that, nothing really stands out as being wrong, and your DPS seems fine for your gear. Also gem your Galkras ring 80agi/160haste.

Your DPS loss is mainly an APM issue (55.9), on a similar length Juggernaut fight my APM was 64.4 and if we assume that each global is like 400k damage and round the fight length up to 4 min you lost 1.6 million damage which is 1.7% DPS.

I got 9 more Arcane Shots, 12 more Cobras, 2 more Kill Commands off in an 8 sec shorter fight with lower Focus Fire uptime so it mostly looks like you're not spamming hard enough (your APM isn't -bad-, but it's the main thing holding most ppl back once they otherwise know what's going on).

Gotta take a look at that, probably hard to monitor myself while playing..but thanks for the input, hope i ll get that down somehow, i hate sucking =( would ve loved to see in your log how much focus u generate (u got 9% more haste than me) so that might help getting more arcane out.

How're you figuring out APM Azor? Just counting up all the casts of every spell used, GCD or non-GCD, and dividing by fight length? I assume that's the only way you can get above a 60 APM.

Inaccurate for most classes but fortunately good enough for hunters if you enable "Exclude Pets".

Of course, taking only effective globals would be more accurate, because Disengage/Deterrence and stuff like that count as well, but that's for SentryTotem and I believe this gets the job done 99% accurately.
