Diseases are just debuffs on your target. Or you can track them on any of the other units NTK supports.

So, select Debuff type, then Unit, and the rest is identical to a normal Buff type.

I pretty much have to have Need To Know, no matter what class or spec I'm playing. I don't know how anyone anywhere can live without it.

I use ForteXorcist I turn off all its tracking and then jsut have it custom track what ever I want, so usually the 2 x disease, Dark Transformation and Shadow Infusion. I find it handy to know at anytime how many stacks my ghoul has and how long until it requires refresh handy for holding back the tranformation at the end of a trash pull before a boss or keeping it at 5 stacks using heals until the next pull.

for diseases (and for runes, if you like) i absolutely recommend DKIRunes (yes, you can deactivate the rune part of the addon and only use it for diseases).

i found this addon about two weeks after wotlk came out and i've yet to see something better. every dk i recommended it to, now uses it too.

i've made a pic a while ago, to show how i it looks for me, although there are a lot of options to edit it to your likings.

if someone even wants to use the exact same look, pm me and i might send you my lua-files via e-mail

ForteXorcist is awesome, and you can have it track pretty much anything you'd like.

I'm giving another vote to ForteXorcist. Great for every class. Superbly flexible.

Power auras for most everything. Most people don't realize just how much it can do.

Not to hijack the thread but... being a spaz and newer to dk dps, I made a single mob priority power aura set based on the unholy EJ thread. It takes into account what runes are up, if RP is at 100, if your DC is procced, and finally if your ghoul is already DT'd. It basically has a vertical stack of icons and you just cast the top one unless certain temporary circumstances would require otherwise. I'm still tweaking it and people would definitely want to move the icons around. It's pretty rudimentary and I'm wondering if there's a more elegant way to do it.

If anyone is interested it, send me a pm or post here. I might just export it to a non-hijacked thread. It's no substitute for being a good dk, but it allows me to do pretty decent damage w/out thinking, and I HATE thinking!

I changed from Engraved to Docs Debug Runes, and I am loving it.

Energy bars for the runes is exactly what I wanted with the new rune system, and that it tracks diseases, dark transformation and even death strike heals and blood shields is just awesome. Plus, I dig the minimalistic looks.

mRunebar (Modular Runes Bar) is a very nice addon to track runes and diseases. It is very small, highly customizable, and nice looking to say the least. It is one of those addons that take a tiny portion of your memory, UI space, but offer very clear information.

I use DoTimer for any DoTs, HoTs, buffs, CDs cast by or on my characters. It's nice because I don't need a different addon when I switch characters.
