US GMs cooler than EU GMs?

Is it just me, or are the US GMs way cooler than our (EU) GMs?
I watch the Blue Tracker several times a day, and never has a EU blue response made me rofl, US does, sometimes.

    This one for example: http://blue.mmo-champion.com/topic/1...attern-is-full
    Made me laugh.

So, bottom line; US GMs/Blue Posters cooler than the ones in the EU?

I'd rather they spent more time actually answering valid questions.

Tonnes of good posts go unanswered, but half a dozen of them have time to piss around in a single topic. Nice.

They are never really actively posting on our forums (active EU poster here).. they're posting sometimes if something needs to be locked or they feel like contribute with their opinion or talk to players who've been whining for weeks after a blue post just to tell them the thread is being read..

Our forum is full of "Blizzard doesn't even read our threads!" arguments.

I really appreciated and liked when they responded to the lack of spirit on Priest gear though, it was quite many posts about that subject then.

But the EU have five language boards to take care of aswell.

I think the EU GMs suffer more because of the multiple language audience they have to deal with.

Frankly I would like the US forums to become a English forums available for all English speaking countries. It's not like mmo-champion suffers because some players play in the EU and some in the US.

It does feel like the EU does not get the same level of service and contact with the Dev team. The US blues talk about meetings with the dev team, but I haven't seen such posts from the EU blues.

PS: Anything posted by EU players directed to Blizz is useless for they won't do anything with the info anyway :O

True, but they post answers on the forums aswell, and if you consider.. what the US CMs have to say is mostely from the developers, and the EU have the same developers so of course their answer about certain subjects are going to remain the same.

I can't confirm it because it was a long time ago and I have bad memory, but I once saw a EU blue say that if they give out information, they have to give it out in all the languages, which slows down their response with useful info.

Question: are the EU GMs doing such a large amount of Q&A about transmographying at the moment? Because all I see is US posts on the blue tracker.

US blizzard is the HQ that contains the developers so I'm assuming the US community managers have been instructed to be the liasion for specific Q&A on special subjects such as new/future content etc.

Relaying answers from the devs in the US to the EU community managers would be harder due to timezones (although not impossible) so yes there is a bias towards the US forums but its a reasonable one.

If blizzards HQ was in France the opposite would be true, its simply a location thing.

Yes, mainly because of activity. The US GM's seem to actively participate in the community on the forums, where as blue posts on the EU side of things are few and far between.

We have better GMs. Euros have better raiders. I'd rather have better raiders.

This is the feeling I get from the EU. But I do not see why continent should be a factor. The forums should be English speaking forums so that all English speaking players can contribute, like we do on mmo-c. It is the main thing that drives me away from the official forums, the fact that I'm completely blocked from posting on the threads I'm interested in.

I know GM help would have to be bound by continent, but they can move GM requests to sub-forums.

Unfortunately it's pretty hard to get this opinion across on the EU forums because it is their jobs at stake. So the closest we in the EU can get to getting this message across is on mmo-c hoping that some blue will find our posts while browsing.

    This.

EU GMs have to deal with customers from more than 10 different countries and different cultural backgrounds.

While US GMs can confidently assume that their audience will appreciate a certain sense of humor, the same cannot be said for EU GMs.

Making a joke on the British forums might not sound nearly as funny on the German ones.

US CMs are also more closely involved with Blizzard, giving them more confidence to speak up.

You could use google translate. It might not be the most accurate of translations but hey better than nothing. But I see what your getting at.
As a US citizen I feel that English is pushed on people too much. For good points, but still it feels forced. Two of the five powers in the UN (UK ad US) are English speaking countries. The internet is mostly in English. Loads of international companies expect you to have some knowledge of the English language.
