I would like to know how having a second HDD works?
Do i have to install the OS, on the new HD? Or does it just uses the one from the HD?
Also, If i have to install an OS on it, can i use my current Windows 7 64 bit OEM copy?

You don't have to install the OS, you just set up a partition. Look up Partition in Windows Search once you have the drive and you'll get a disk partition manager. Right click the unallocated (black) partition of the new HDD, and you'll be able to auto setup a partition for it.
