Background: In college I played ultimate frisbee for the university's team, was in excellent shape. Went to the gym couple times a week, walked everywhere, and had very active friends. After college gained a bunch of weight to the point I was bordering 'overweight'. This was because of my 5-6 day, 5-6 hour raids sessions (pre-BC), where my social life was online, and mum's cooking. Also worked 20-30 hours a week.
After I realized that I gained as much weight as I did, I joined a gym and every day after work I went. Lost 25 lbs, gained a great deal of muscle. My social life was very minimal, just hung out with a couple close friends who were gamers now and then. I felt good
I moved states, I got a new job (more career based), working a stressful 50+ hours a week. All my new friends play wow and Diablo3, and regularly go out for food just to do something. Met a girl, been dating her for a couple years now, and her activities are playing SWTOR and going out for food, and she's not active at all (I've tried).
30+ lbs heavier, 28 BMI, I'm finding it hard to stay motivated to go to the gym and cook my own food and avoid all the bad things. I tend to have the urge to go to the gym in the morning, but always have a hard time waking up early enough to do it.
Any help would be awesome.
