Gamespot has just posted a video showing a new Dev diary for Storm Legion

HOLY FUCKING BATMAN!

1m36s into that video, left to right: Rogue (dual wielding), warrior (obvious armor), mage (similar to the silhouette we've seen teasing the new soul), cleric (staff, chain armor)....

But it looks like the mage is slightly out front, possibly as the tank? I mean I know the rogue could tank too as a dual wielder but the cleric and the warrior have no shields and the rogue is off to one side... one more sign for the coming mage-pocalyspe!

Here we see the mage with his two handed sword looking all leader/tank like:


And a couple seconds later in the video we see that his armor looks quite tough... but also note that the warrior after casting a buff, vanished... bug, or possible warrior stealth soul?

As much as I want to tank I don't think the armor is a factor since all previous sets have used the same skins for dps and tank sets.

I still flipped my shit when I saw this though.

I hope you're wrong about some kind of Warrior stealth Tarien, that sounds terrible.

Well Elrar has put the theories to rest that the manta ray type mob at 2:18 or so is will be a flying mount or would be a taxi service

Back to my theory of it been a hovermount that glides along, maybe over water or hovers a few feet above the ground?

And no, it's not a flying mount

Thanks for the post I've always liked the developer diary videos. I don't surf official forums that much (only when researching my character) I noticed Slipmat is a "RIFT Community Ambassador" good on you man!
