Hey Guys,
I started my second crack at GW2 the other day. I decided to try a guardian and really give this game a better shot that I did the first time (I only got to level 21 or 22 on a warrior previously).
I seem to have run into the same issue that put me off last time... Level deficiency relative to content.
I am only level 4 so far, but I am already having to start doing hearts etc that says its for level 5 and 6. On my warrior last time i ending up doing level 22 stuff when I was 18 etc and it wasn't pretty sometimes haha
I even ground out 3 levels on mobs in queensdale before moving to the next zone last time cause I had fallen behind somehow.
I've checked the maps and there doesn't appear to be any hearts or anything I miss and I always do map completion before moving on.
1. Is this just how the game is?
2. Am I missing some major part of each zone that's not getting my to the suggested levels?
3. Unlike other MMO's, is crafting/PVP/WvW etc required in order to level?
4. Is grinding mobs expected?
Other MMO's I have max toons in (WoW, RIFT, SWTOR) I always seem to end up with 1 or 2 levels breathing room by the time I finish a zone. Perhaps those MMO's are too easy in a questing sense? I really don't know.
Sorry for the long post, hope someone can point me in the right direction.
Cheers!
