Either upgrade from a windows 7 machine or buy the full copy of 8.
That was a beta, its gone now.
You can upgrade from a machine with Windows 7 (not sure about XP).
I don't understand where you are getting XP, Vista and windows 7 from - the OP mentioned nothing of the sort.
As to the question - YES it does seem possible to upgrade from the RC to a full copy - source http://winsupersite.com/article/wind...preview-144319
That's because you don't understand what they're talking about.
Going from Free to Full requires reinstalling Windows 8 (If you have the full version) or upgrading.
You can upgrade from XP, Vista, and 7, ONLY if they are 64bit. XP x64 is super rare. Vista x64 is about half and half. Most 7 installs are x64. So, I mean, there's that.
They easiest/cheapest way to do it, is to get the Win8 Upgrade, download a Win7 x64 iso, install it without the key, and then upgrade to Win8.
Technically there are workarrounds to upgrading Win8 Beta to Win8 Full.. But it's a little work.
No The cheapest way is to enroll in a class to get credit that gets you the right under msdna agreement to download win 8 for free

Download the official Windows 7 ISO and reformat with it without using a key:

Buy the upgrade for $40 and again do a reformat. Easy peasy.

Windows 8 can't play the latest games at best compared to Windows 7 at the moment. . Go back to windows 7 like the guy above me stated.
