    I don't see why not.

    The Revantusk would certainly see this as an opportunity to formally join the Horde like the Wildhammer and Dark Iron Clans did in with the Alliance in Cataclysm. I think you'd also want a third clan to join them as a counterbalance to the second clan as well. Kinda like the Dark Irons and and Wildhammers were for the Bronzebeard Clan before Varian united them.

    Historically, the Darkspears have been the proverbial the Black Sheep ever since they joined the Horde. Vol'Jin openly recruiting Alliance Heroes to deal with the Amani and Gurubashi Trolls post-Cata and again for the Seige of Orgrimmar makes it pretty clear there's little he won't do for an enemy too powerful for him or the Horde to deal with alone. One of those "The Enemy of my Enemy is my ally for the moment" type of things.
