I am trying to make a weakaura to remind me to use redirect more frequently as I am trying out the new glyph.
So I want it to appear on a target I can use redirect on - ofc this will mean I have combo points on another target or one that has recently died.
I have been able to make the icon show when the action is usable, and when I have 1 or more combo points on a target, however when I deselect this target to select a new one the icon vanishes as wa sees me as having 0 combo points at this time.
I am guessing it would take some fancy custom trigger. I figured it would be simple enough, redirect is usable or not right, but this seems to not be the case.
I have done this in the past click new icon, in display un-click icon and put in the text "ability_rogue_redirect" then in triggers, go to "status", the next drop down menu, select "Action Usable" then the spell "redirect" that will show you an icon when its usable, other than that if you want it combo point driven you could use the "Status" "combo points" click the box, have the operator at say <= 1 (meaning if there are combo points on the target equal to or less than one) and have the "hide" operator being > 2 (meaning greater than 2 combo points on target the it will hide icon)
Hope that helps.
Ty for the reply mate.
I have tried this, unfortunately it will display the icon/texture/etc at bizarre times. For example if I am fighting a target and have combo points on it, it will say redirect is usable even tho you cannot use it on a target you already have combo points on. It will also show it when you don't have any combo points at all and select a new target.
I believe it is the strange way that redirect behaves that prevents the "Action Usable" status from working correctly.
Yes it would require some tinkering, the "Action Usable" status is just saying the cd is up and you have a hostile target, maybe some how having 2 triggers, one if the target has combo points and redirect is not off CD then to not show an icon?
I will have a play in game and see if I can work something out.
