Depends on the video card... However, the point of the A8 (and the entire APU line) is that they have a 'dedicated GPU' built in. That cpu is almost exactly what you currently have. It would be a waste (imo) if you got that and intended to get a discrete GPU. You may as well just get the GPU and call it a day. Lower end video cards (7770 or maybe even 7850) could probably be supported without an upgrade for a Dell 300w.

E2-3200 = Llano 2 Core 2.4ghz
A8-3829 = Llano 4 Core 2.9ghz + 6550D

Depends on what the problem is. What GPU do you have right now? Is it just an onboard with the motherboard?

EDIT: NVM, the E2-3200 comes with HD 6370D. That said... Yes, a dedicated card will help SOME... But if your issue is in cities or raiding, that's also being hurt pretty bad by your CPU.

Yeah it seems when I pvp in battlegrounds it gets real jumpy

That may well be your CPU, then. Both aspects are lacking pretty hard in that setup, and either will help, but only one of either won't resolve all performance issues either. I believe you made a post earlier about how to get a better setup for $500?

Yeah I am still building another setup I was just trying to maybe upgrade this one for my wife to play on.

I would honestly look into getting a cheap upgrade (i3, board, ram, GPU) for about $300 or so. Or get a decent GPU now (7770 or 650ti) and make the rest of the jump later
