Rick Grimes & Daryl Dixon vs Sam & Dean Winchester

    vs

Daryl Dixon and Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead go up against Sam and Dean Winchester from the Supernatural series.

Battle takes place in zombie populated Atlanta. Zombies are the walking dead version. Daryl has his crossbow, handgun, and knife. Rick has his machete, assault rifle, and handgun.

Sam and Dean each have a sawed off shotgun, handguns, and machetes.

Both teams start on opposite sides of the city.

Daryl and Rick have motorcycles to begin with and Winchesters have the Impala.

    Who wins?

(no demon blood abilities for Sam and Mark of Cain abilities for Dean and nether team gets prep time)

one pair fights slow moving shambling Zombies.

The other fights Demons and Hell beasts.

    Winchesters win.

Sam and Dean, but only if there's a small child or female passerby around to kill the other two right when they're about to die.

Sam was killed by a normal human in season 2, and they get no prep time, which they greatly benefit from in killing those demons.

I would have to go with Sam and Dean, its not talked about as much in later seasons but they were both really well trained in combat.

    Rick and Daryl.

With no prep time or Supernatural powers, Rick and Daryl live in a constant state of survival. While Sam and Dean will likely let their guard down. Rick and Daryl are also used to hunting humans.

The Walking Dead team...it resembles real life survival experience, including tracking and hunting.

Supernatural is just finding a demon and doing random shit without thinking.

Rick and Daryl somewhat have no remorse about killing humans anymore while sam and dean would want to talk about it and try to hash out a deal, in the end I think they will all be drinking beer and killing zombies together.

Ruined the fun by taking away the Winchesters' supernatural abilities.

Well, the Supernatural guys are supposed to be extremely competent fighters, who punch their way through most things and - at least at one point - make a whole SWAT team look like complete fools when trying to apprehend them in that weird bank robbery situation. On the other hand, they themselves also end up looking like complete fools at the hands of random, minor threats all the time, whenever that is convenient for the plot. So it's hard to take them seriously as competent fighters... but I think they're at least meant to be very competent. Much more so than the walking dead guys, for sure.

On the other hand, they've got massive issues killing humans, so it's easy to imagine a situation where the winchesters overpower the walking dead guys only to stand around (aggressively) arguing the morality of what they're doing, to then get killed by some kind of surprise attack or a hidden gun or something.

Rick and Daryl only have no remorse when it's for survival...both teams don't like killing innocent people.

They would still get owned in a "real" survival situation.

I'm not familiar with Supernatural bros so I'm gonna go with my boys Rick and Daryl. They have irl aimbot after all.

Not sure why you say that, all shots in Walking Dead are pretty realistic. 99% of shots fired are in arms length of the enemy.

Hey a shot to the body is a shot to the body but yeah I was talking more about how they just get autohead shots on just about anything. That's not that easy even at a relatively close distance. Especially when they one arm everything and shoot within a second of bringing the sights up.

Supernatural clearly, been fighting since they were kids etc (against supernatural beings, gods, demons).

Hm. If this is strictly something where it's weapon skills vs weapon skills and the Winchesters don't have their supernatural abilities, I'd have to go with Rick and Daryl. They're a lot less predictable, and Daryl is damn good with that crossbow. Also you never know when Rick is gonna do something like rip a dude's throat open with his teeth.

Also, they might get a slight bit of an edge here because the zombies are the Walking Dead version. I mean, not much since zombies are zombies for the most part, but Rick and Daryl have more experience dealing with their version. Less chance that they'll get punked by some random zombie.

I might be a little biased because I'm more of a Walking Dead fan than a Supernatural fan. Gotta side with my boys here. :P

Team Supernatural would probably end up curing the zombie apocalypse, after dean and sam fall out with eachother at least 3 times. Then Castiel will turn up and have some sort of crisis of confidence.

It's not about what they fight, going from what we see in the series TWD team would own the Super team in armed combat, close combat and tracking/survival skills.

Have people watched the same Supernatural as I did because the brother are clumsy as fuck and fuck up the easiest to win situations. But they win because of plot of course.

Either Sam or Dean will be depressed, one of them always is while the other tries to cheer them up there entire season.

I liked the show, but the same bullshit about depression got tired quickly. I mean, I get why they were depressed...it simply wasn't very interesting to watch.

Sam and Dean would probably be in better shape/able to move faster and we'll rested wouldn't they ? And from what I recall of supernatural sam and Dean can fight pretty well up close. I'd say Sam and Dean also because they are written to be lucky as fuck
