So...
My baby $1,200 Samsung 34" monitor took a tumble yesterday on the way into the LAN party. Completely my fault. XD
I went to open my passenger side door of my car and forgot the monitor was literally leaning against it, so it tumbled out onto the asphalt/concrete. =| Fell probably 2~ feet.
Got some scratches and dents on the top as well as one of the top corners got mostly chewed off. YAY PLASTIC!
Thankfully, the price I paid for this monitor was some insurance - that I could be assured it would be alright. The monitor is still working perfectly fine, no visual errors on the screen! The panel along the back popped out a little bit in a few spots, but nothing tremendous, so I just pushed those spots back in here at home today. All is well, now the top is just a bit permanently damaged - a good reminder to pay attention and be careful!
Going to run a Fraps benchmark on Doom on 3440x1440 with my GTX 970... Settings aren't maxed completely, do you guys think they should be?

Crappy router! No but really I was just annoyed at the router dcing every 10 seconds, lol.
Then I discovered this house has a hardwired connection for ethernet port.
Also the Xperia X Performance in Taiwan is apparently 64GB base storage for $700~ including tax. O.o
After trying the phones in the department store, still end up preferring the X Performance one.
Just work in a kitchen, you won't feel that at all. People in the back end of restaurant are seriously underappreciated.

No but seriously the people that practically make our social remotely able to be kept together are the ones that are the most underpaid / under appreciated.
Even on this forum I see a lot of posts about unskilled vs skilled workers, yet all those unskilled workers are the ones that actually affect your life day to day yet they're the ones that get treated worse. I don't think some people realize that the ones they look down upon are the ones that they depend on the most.
Well, you're more useful than most people already.
One I worked in, 2 cooks, 1 sous chef, 1 executive chef, 1 on appetizer, 1 pastry, 1 prep. Pastry and appetizer people also work on a lot of prep for the cooks / sous chef and even then everyone works on their own and others. Dish washer guy, well hes the god of the kitchen. Without him we wouldn't have clean pots, pans, tools, dish, etc to use.
Was a four star hotel restaurant, forgot what the capacity of it was.
Honestly I think when you work in a kitchen you sort of learn just how fragile it is and how dependent you are on the ones in 'lesser' position of you. That's where my appreciation of these 'no skill' workers came from.
One thing that was emphasized heavily when I was in culinary school, everyone in the kitchen is important, even the janitor, and you really see how so when you experience it yourself.

Glorious Japan. Live crab crane game. Going through the pictures I took in Japan, lol.
Doom is literally the ONLY game I have that'll crash. Not BSOD, just the game. It's been years since I've had this happen with anything. Memory exceptions every time.
Here's an example one if any of you have any ideas...
