They are quite alot harder then DH's tbh but indeed very fun. If you get good you will most likely be invited to alot of mythics and m+, if not then im not so sure.

There's a lot of finding the right corner to stand in. There's a lot of being an un-killable noodle. You'll take massive damage but you'll never die. It's like Hotel California, you can check out any time you like but you can never leave.

WW always has a spot open for 5mans because of their beastly cleave damage. In raids, especially on ST, they are nothing special. But they are considerably harder than Dh to play optimally.

BrM is pretty much the herpes pariah spec for high end 5mans. Regardless of your actual native ability, the community wants nothing to do with Brewmasters for "hard" mythic+ content. They are also very poorly represented in raiding content.

MW is a solid healing spec but doesnt really stand out anywhere. Fun to play though.

Haha, I'm also currently debating swapping from DH to Monk, I miss Mistweaver and Windwalker seems to have a similar result to DH (average ST, huge burst, huge aoe/cleave).

It's really up to you OP. DH and WW pull similar numbers, both are extremely mobile, both will excel in Mythic+ and any sort of cleave/aoe fight in raids and both are extremely strong in open world content. PvP both are great also, though DH isn't the best in the game due to it not having any sort of heal outside of Meta, it's still strong with a healer as it can pump out insane burst (which Monk can also)

I swapped and I'm not looking back. I like the mechanics better, I'm more comfy, and my artifact doesn't look like baloney on my back.

If you aren't in a cutting edge guild, play what you want.

They're about the same on the damage for Mythic+. I personally like Monks better because I can also heal and tank with them if I want where as DH only has one other spec.

In terms of being invited to raids/Mythic+, that is based on YOU the player, not the class. If you sucked as DH and were not getting invites, then you'll most likely suck as a WW and not get invites, especially since WW rotation IS harder than Havok rotation. Both Havoc and WW are about the same for Mythic+ in terms of damage and utility.

Just being a WW will NOT guarantee you invites to anything. You have to PROVE your worth.

If you want an easier chance of getting invited to raids and still be DPS, I suggest rolling a ranged class, preferably a Hunter or Mage. For Mythic+ Havok and WW are about the same in desirability. Enh Shamans are also very desired as they bring a lot more utility with great DPS as well.
