    Doubts in rotation mage frost

    Rotation without legendary bracer:
spam FB until proc !FoF -> FoF> IC> FB spam.
If you have brain freeze -> FL> FoF or not + IC > FB.

    Rotation with legendary bracer:
    FB > IC > FB > IC > FB > IC > FB > IC
Brain freeze -> FL> FoF or not + IC> FB

The point is, without the legendary bracer, should I be spamming FB until I get the procs? with the legendary bracer, is it always cast FB followed by IC during the entire fight? ignoring the procs of FoF (I say use independent IC of having proc)

In single target fights, do I enjoy the blizzard instant proc? Or is DPS loss doing this?

    tks all!

I rarely response, but as I'm sure the rest of the guys here will say, never EVER cast Icelance after Frostbolt if you don't have the proc. It's a wasted global cooldown, and you're better casting Frostbolt for a) a proc chance and b)maintaining ChainReaction, which is worth more than the bracer buff.

For blizzard, let's say you have to move and don't have any procs, nothing wrong with using blizzard, otherwise most people don't bother using it Single Target.

    Best of luck!

Playstyle does not change with leg bracers. You don't try to game it by keeping the stacks at 5, just play normal rotation.

    To add:

When you get a Brain Freeze proc, make sure you do the combo whenever possible.
Frostbolt -> Flurry (Brain Freeze) -> Ice Lance
If you do it right, all 3 spells will hit the target while the Winter's Chill debuff (from Brain Freeze) is active, causing the spells to Shatter.

This is easy to do if you react quickly, because you are most likely already casting Frostbolt. If you have to, waste Fingers of Frost procs to do the combo. Do NOT risk wasting Brain Freeze procs.

This is correct. The bracers are a nice to have buff. Not something you try and maintain.

Best resource for mages : https://www.altered-time.com/ you can find every little answer you seek.

With bracer you do the normal rotation, shouldn't refresh the bracer stack without FoF proc.
If you casting frostbolt and you have both BF and FoF, you munch the FoF proc, and use Flurry (BF) -> IL.
Blizzard is dps loss on single target, worth casting on 2+ targets.
