Talents/build that go with azerite traits

I'm using the standard demonic build with all the blade dance talents....but I picked up a 385 azerite piece with thirsting blade on it. Is it worth it to switch to dark slash with it? Like I know the azerite trait that adds damage to fel rush prob favors a momentum build.

what other traits push certain talents or builds? or is it not worth it to change?

It's not worth the change. Dark Slash is awful.

Piece of advice, just sim yourself for an easy answer.

The day Dark Slash becomes the go to talent is the day i reroll something more fun, arcane mage or shaman for example.

And no, traits do rarely on all any class alter gameplay in any meaningful way. Even with thirsting blades you still pick BD talents and proceed as usual. Unbound Chaos is primarily for a momentum build, yes, but it does not alter you way of playing after all.

Dark Slash isn't awful, it works very well for priority single target. It's not an all-star talent, it's a very niche talent for momo specs, that so far hasn't had an opportunity to really shine except for mythic fetid eggs.

Thirsting Blade is a great single target trait that you should use when progressing in Uldir. Especially if you have it at that item level.
Doesn't matter if you're using a Demonic build, and you can come to the same conclusion by simming for single target.
