I think you are looking too far into it. Hiding certain gear slots just mainly helps with themed transmogs (examples: pirate or blademaster mogs)
Certain classes like warrior and demon Hunter work well with it too
Well i do think many classes can get a lot from hiding a lot more slots, i mean, is true that it let you make more themed transmog, but it also let you use more sets that are not actually complete, or just use more equipment that match with each other.
Also the ability to hide things like guantles make the idea of transmogging bracers actually relevant, and in general, Cloth users have been crying for the hide guantles thing, also with the AR that have Tatoos, the hide chest piece make those more relevant (and hopefully would inspire Blizzard to add more races / classes with unique body features)
Yep, exactly
Lots of options for creativity!
Mods should lock each of the class transmog threads at 600 pages and do a fresh restart for them.
Kupo.
Bring back Challenge Mode or Mage Tower (or something new), have weapons and/or armor sets that are class specific locked behind it as reward, and a lot of people would be happy.
I would LOVE to have a new Mage Tower to butt my head against, would give me a reason to level up all my 110's just for that, and give me months of playtime to enjoy.
CM could be replaced by doing +15 or something of every dungeon (so a bit difficult, but should be possible for everyone who know's how to play, +10 would be too easy), but I did really enjoy the gear scaling of CMs.
Considering ilvl is practically useless I’d say cosmetic rewards are the best way to reward difficult content completion. Challenge modes should definitely make a return with new rewards, raiding and m+ should probably get some cosmetic rewards for CE/+15. They can add something like the mage tower and other forms of content that offer rewards for those who don’t participate in high level content that can give cosmetic rewards but high level play should probably be giving the most.
They could solve this by having multiple versions, where the cosmetics you got progressed as you pushed higher. HIGH skill content SHOULD give higher rewards, this is what is missing now, EVERYONE and their auntie can to the same ilvl, and even Elite PvP gear is easy to get now, as you only need 1.8k rating to obtain the full set without tabard. And Mythic gear can always be farmed a year later.
Exclusive items that rewards those who put in the effort, and brings a challenge is only healthy for the game.
Saw a warrior with this mog and liked it alot so I stole it! Muahaha!
Nothing really special tho, but it lines up nicely and has a good paladin-feel about it.

Been using this mix of t4 pvp recolour and Judgement recolour for a while now for Ret.
