Actually, if YOU had any idea on this you'd know that BFA was announced in Nov 2017, went into alpha testing early Feb 2018, beta early late April, and was released in August. HOWEVER, with BFA's less effort patches after 8.2, they should have been on this faster than BFA. As for why I'm pushing for an even faster/better release is because:
- BFA's last two patches have been light on actual content.
- They've massively grown their team every year since MoP.
- They're a multi-billion dollar company, they can do this MUCH better.
- We pay a monthly subscription and WoW is their main cash cow, THEY SHOULD BE DOING MORE FOR IT. Patches with 2 weeks of content and then months before more content isn't acceptable. They have the resources.
Be honest? They literally fixed major azerite issues and released heroic Warfronts (which should have been normal mode) in patch 8.2... What they SHOULD have done is listened to feedback and made those 8.2 fixes BEFORE release or by 8.1 at most. Instead they stubbornly DEFENDED the systems as they were until it could be proven in data because BFA's development choices were literally data driven. Just FYI, 8.2 came nearly a year after release which YES is far too late in an expansion for core features.
Perhaps understand this better before trying to call out people ROFL.
