Could you possibly behave any more like a caricature?
Anyway, I hope this doesn't do a Ubisoft this time. Heads should roll if half of these allegations are true. Yeah I still enjoy Blizzard games but it doesn't mean I want this sort of shit go unpunished. They need a giant wake up call in more ways than one now.

If you were a higher-up at the company who'd been aware of these situations and had complained about inaction to your boss, would you come out publicly now and say so? Just to dispel any growing notion that your continued silence implies a level of complicity? Personally I'd want to but then I guess you don't want to be the one to draw fire even if you've done nothing wrong.
(edit: also thanks to the mods for keeping this open)
I am so glad I don't play Blizzard/Activision games anymore, I truly hope they either crash and burn, or self implode and those responsible get their punishments in due time.
Fuck this company

To be clear: I blame Blizzard for permitting and actively promoting this sort of behavior among consumers of its products. This is why a lot of the shit their streamers pull on WoW don't tend to fly on other games (i.e. FFXIV).

Only a legal judge can decide if blizzard is guilty. That said I hope that every victims get justice.
Pretty much every woman I know who plays online games has experienced this to some extent. Back when I used to play WoW, our raid leader was a woman, and sometimes people would make the kitchen jokes, but it was really only done by a few people who were IRL friends so it was an in-joke. They aren't funny without good context and in situations where people know one another well, and that's what irks me most about online games now is all these dumb edgelords think it's funny when it isn't when you say it to someone you don't know.
Uh...no.
The title of the article is misleading; this is not a civil suit being brought by employees against the company, this is the State of California attempting to issue an injunction against ActiBlizzion for failing to comply with state labor laws. A cash settlement won't avoid the need for compliance.
