What's the difference between these two monitors that the new one is worth $300 more?

I don't care about the 180hz overclock or the HDR.
Can I just get the cheaper one?

More curve, better g-sync module, better HDR. Probably different panel too, but I'm not about to go digging for that

In your opinion is it worth the extra $300?

My opinion on what's worth it on a monitor doesn't really affect you. The best I can do is suggest you try finding a store with both of them and try them out

You know reviewing a monitor is rather technical and requires instruments, right? Either you have the required instruments or you have extensive knowledge of the components (such as panel) and their models etc. I'd look for advise in a more professional website. Check pcmonitor.info. They are the best reviewers I have seen so far.
