Steamrolling content is fun for me.
Making my character stronger is also fun for me.
Struggling to complete content... or worse failing to complete the content... is not fun for me.
And with few exceptions, when it comes to group content, if I can't queue, I don't do.
I'm not saying WoW needs to or even should design around me and players like me, but if Blizzard wants my money, they sure as shit need to do more to make me want to keep playing (not feel obligated due to FOMO but actually want to play). Zerith Mortis's cypher system raising gear rewards to 252, and the catalyst for turning gear into tier is a great concept. It may not be perfect but the concept itself is appealing to me and I hope to see that concept carry forward in the next expansion.
