    Asus Strix z690 cooling

So apparently after several days of researching ASUS motherboards, I managed to miss the fact they screwed the pooch on CPU cooling due to all the shiny chipset heatsinks and am only finding conflicting informationabout which Air coolers are actually compatible with the motherboard that will also keep the new i5-12600 from melting down. and i need options from those who havr actually buit systems around these motherboards

Will eventually switch to water cooling once I find a decent looking case with rgb, room for water cooling that has at least 1 5.25 drive bay and prefferably a hard plastic front cover instead of mesh as I dont find the 3 glowing circles of rgb fans very asteticlly pleasing . looking for the old school stealth jetfighter/batmobile feel of yesteryear with a more minamalistic purple/green lighting aproach instead of it looklng like a unicorn exploded.
You can call it trolling, you can call it flat out heresy, you don't have to like it or agree with it and you can even ban me for it but I refuse to be suppressed.

It's just he was talking about the chipset heatsinks, which will change depending on the model

I am not giving you recommendation, but let just say I am writing this to share your pain.
I am looking forward to upgrade to a Gen 12 12**k, but the cockblock seems the cooling,
A lot of AIO or rad are apparently supporting the cooling effect but they don’t have the bracket included.
Some models, depending when they were built have the bracket, there is no guaranty that you will have he bracket.
And you will need to wait 2 weeks to have the bracket (Ex: Kraken z73 )
I thought that the ASUS ROG Strix LC II 360 was one of the best option on the market right now ?
