My Grid shows a counter on top left to see who has my SS and how much time it has left, a green dot close to that counter to show the FoL HoT that becomes yellow at 4s and red at 2, and another counter on top right to show who has my beacon and how much time it has left. I find it quite good considering Holy is like my third spec so i'm definitely not used to those cooldowns and have to check them frequently. Grid takes a bit to setup but it can show almost everything you want.

You could maybe argue this before 4pc Tier 10, but with the addition of the Divine Storm proc, FCFS addons hold incredible value and you won't find a whole lot of top raiders going without one.

For me, with the addition of sticky chat channels in the latest patch, I can get by playing without addons, though I usually only do that on patch days. Right now, my 22" wide monitor died so I'm stuck using an old 17". The only addons I'm using currently are clcret while playing Retribution, clcbpt while playing Holy, and Classic ThreatMeter while playing Protection or Retribution. I also have a handful of other addons I've written, but those just print random information I've deemed important to various channels.

Some form of spam keys is incredible (I use n52 macros, but the most popular is AutoHotKey). Especially for Retribution and when I'm playing some of my alts (Heroic Strike spamming and Mouseover Powerword: Shielding the entire raid).

Pallypower - Would be kicked from my guild if I didn't have it. Annoying when pally's don't have it in pugs and then chat is nothing but "hunters need kings" spam etc.
CLCRet - Keeps my eyes in the middle of the screen where they should be and keeps track of CD's. Invaluable.
Power Auras Classic - Health/Mana warnings, trinket procs, pretty much anything you could possibly want to keep track of and looks cool.
Shadowed Unit Frames + Shadowed Aura Indicators - Basically Grid and Pitbull together but easier to config. Nice.

I only play holy, but I can't live without these:

    Pallypower, Grid, Clique, SatrinaBuffFrames

And if I have to live without these, I get grumpy:

    Bartender, Pitbull, quartz

I should have added Autohotkey to the applications list. I just recently put it back on to the computer I'm playing on and oohhhhhhhhh did I miss it.

AHK is pretty darn good. I could certainly live without it, but the hands would start cramping again.

If you like to click heal, you should check out Shadowed Unit Frames. It won't force you to change the way you play, but it will make you a better raider because it can give you way more information than the default ugly tiny raid frame. At the very least the bars are bigger so you can see peoples health going up and down better.

Not really a addon that i cant live without but i use heal bot as a tank just becsue when dps such as fail dks using dark reckoning or death grip and pulls off you its just eaiser to have righteous defense hand of reckoning or hand of salvation on a quick click to help out a little.

    ^ In complete agreement.

The one I couldn't live without? I'm pretty sure that DXE is the main one as half the raid annoys the hell out of me and I have them muted.

There's power in not even having to think about blessings. I'd rather focus my thinking on how to maneuver the boss and my cooldowns to save our 15 alive out of 25 men raid from wiping.

    Hadars Holy Hope. love it.

Shadowed Unit Frames. Yea, xperl, same thing. either way, a unit frame that shows who in the raid has aggro.

Frankly, that's the best thing about PallyPower. If someone is rebirthed, getting them a full set of rebuffs is important when you're pushing a first kill on a difficult boss. PallyPower allows you to quickly see and correct any missing buffs without taking too much focus away from your primary responsibility in raid.

I'm a big fan of Art of War for Ret and Holy. Gives me all the timers I need.
