How is that going to make Mind Spike less attractive for PvE?
Very cool changes all around.
Paralysis is the kind of 'fun talents' I was expecting to see a lot more of based on their original statement of concept.
Dont see much/any pve use for it, but I personally dont mind that.
After a moment's thought. Paralysis sounds more suited for a glyph.
i'd be upset about paralysis if i didn't plan to make a worgen spriest =)
Nice Additions for PvP, but as a PvE Shadowpriests there still is one cooky cutter spec.
They cut down PvE talents in points, but implement pure pvp talents in their place.
How exactly is that supposed to help a pve shadow priest?
Also silence is still out of reach thanks to improved inner fire in tier 2 disc.

Yeah, wow... as for a redesign with mind spike... they went from saying 'we don't want in in your rotation' to...well you're gonna try to add it in anyway... might as well give in...
The new twisted faith is interesting too... taking back the stance on passive hit, and allowing the talent to scale with spirit. Honestly... if you combined the new twisted faith... with glyph of shadow... spirit might actually begin to scale on par with spellpower.

What level is that priest?
What kind of in combat mana regen do you have at that level?
What's your mana pool looking like?
And what is the mana cost/damage range of mindflay and mindblast at that level?
Honestly, between the new twisted faith and mind spike... spriest gearing is going to be spirit/haste/mastery all the way. The buff of mindspike will definitely put a dent in crit scaling. You'll need the mana regen to afford casting mind spike in rotation.
The new shadow apparitions being unbound from mind blast is interesting. (seems they haven't added scaling for levels to it yet.)
And I am so loving paralysis.
Predictions:
Mind Spike is going to be nerfed.
Level 83 Priest Premade 3138 Spellpower Unbuffed (most tooltips are updated with spellpower), 41k Maxmana:
Mindblast - 3437 to 3520 for 1792 mana
Mindspike - 3515 to 3616 for 1792 mana
Mindflay - 1473 tick at 0 stacks Evanglism (it is a dot) for 948 mana
Mastery starts at 8 which gives the 20%, i currently have 6,4 mastery points which equals a 16% damage increase for each orb. So instead of 20% i get 36% per orb.
So from this you get 1 Point of mastery gives a 2,5% damage increase on Orbs.

Not to derail this too far from Shadow, but just peaking at the Holy tree in that screenshot am I seeing it right that Desperate Prayer is a T2 talent? (As well as Spirit of Redemption and Lightwell being shuffled around and Imp Holy Nova either being removed or deeper in the tree where we can't see)
Edit: I'm also a little disappointed as Holy that Twisted Faith is T2. That means it's impossible to get it along with Archangel, which is odd.

Yep. The replacement is ridicolous overpowered, at least the tooltip. NYI the spell
Santuary - 5 min cooldown
You sanctify the ground, causing all allies to be healed for 537 to 633 every 2 sec and have all threat from enemies reduces by 90% for 15 sec.
enemies within the sanctuary who attack allied targets within the sanctuary will heal the targets for 5% of their maximum health instead of dealing damage.
Lasts 15 sec.
Also note:
- Evangelism has a chance to be applied on each flay tick
- Archangel and Evangelism do stack and you can stack Evangelism while Archangel is active.

Pretty sure Mind Spike causes a TON of threat. So you might be able to do amazing numbers with the spell, but for how long until the boss one shots you?

I'd also love to see a video of the updated apparition effects.
I always liked the OLD version better. Having a hovering version of yourself floating towards something might be a bit to much when many are proccing.
